Your identity as a christian
After few years since last visit to Ephesians Paul wrote a letter to them. He was in house arrest at Rome.
I love the statement of Paul “to Gods holy people & the faithful in Christ Jesus”
this words are full of encouragement to Ephesians about their real identity; ‘who & what they are & whom they are belong to’ despite of all circumstances they & Paul were facing at that time.
Never loose sight of our real identity in Christ. We are chosen holy people because our faith in Jesus Christ, so we can bear fruits wherever we are commissioned to go (as Jesus said 15:16-17).
Thank you oh Lord You gave me the real identity. Since my identity doesn’t lie on what people say/think, condition I am now or earthly things. I am what You say I am.
